Others may say that Christmas is about the tree. The lights. Perhaps the mince pies or the Christmas pudding. It could even be the turkey, or sprouts that get mentioned. But we all know what makes Christmas extra special, and the friends and family gatherings festive, is the beer. And more specifically, the Humber Doucy Brewery beer.

Whilst we are confident ordering your Christmas beer was firmly number 1 on the job list for Christmas prep, by the time you have got the tree, put up the outside lights (twice, as they didn’t look quite right the first time), and had all the discussions about what family is doing what, when and with who at Christmas, it can easily slip down the list.
Throw in the work Secret Santa you have just got landed with, Great Uncle Humphrey who is now coming for dinner you need a gift for, and that bloke in the village who always helps you out with hedge cutting who needs a little something to say thank you, and suddenly you have a list that definitely needs checking twice.

How to order and purchase
Humber Doucy is all about beer, Suffolk and you – so we are making it easy for you this Christmas to shop and support local.
- Online – just pop onto our online shop Humber Doucy Brewery Online Shop
- In-person – come into our brewery shop and buy in person at Jeffries of Bacton, IP14 4NF. Open Friday 12-5 pm, and Saturday 930-1 pm.
The hardest part will be deciding whether it is the new Beacon, Hedgerow, Pale Ale, Porter, Friday Street or King Slayer that you will be enjoying this Christmas.
Personally, we would advise you to order a stock of all to suit every mood, palate and meal 🎄🎅🎄. Just remember the final order date of 18 December.
