Following a record-breaking 2025 where the brewery ran out of stock over the festive period, owners John and Alan Ridealgh are doubling down on the community spirit that has made the Bacton-based brewery a local favourite.

The foundations for 2026 were laid during a whirlwind 2025. Not only did our standard beer sales reach new heights, but our bespoke corporate beer service saw a significant surge. We have loved working with local businesses to create white-label brews that tell their unique stories. We are ready to take on even more bespoke projects this year.

A New Look for Finbows Tap
The heart of our local community is getting a makeover. Thanks to a grant from Mid Suffolk District Council, the Finbows Tap at Finbows Yard is undergoing a complete refurbishment.
The project includes installing a brand-new cold room to ensure every pint is served in peak condition. We are also moving the bar to create more seating, making the Tap Room an even better place to gather with friends. To complement the changes, a dedicated Finbows Tap website will be launching soon. It will highlight all the events taking place at Finbows Tap, and showcase our expanded range of local wines, spirits, and, of course, the full Humber Doucy beer line-up.

2026 is also the year of the "SARS Responder." This special ale, which supports the life-saving work of the Suffolk Accident Rescue Service, will now be available year-round.
We are also expanding our brewing family. We are thrilled to be collaborating with other East Anglian brewers, including the relaunch of the Boudicca Brewery range. These iconic Norfolk beers will now be brewed right here in Bacton by the Humber Doucy team, keeping traditional regional brewing alive and well.
