King Slayer

King Slayer

Malty, Fruity, Piney

Bitter has been around in England since the 1600s and is described by many as the national drink of England.

It certainly is the drink of Suffolk and in our opinion, nothing is better than a fine pint of Suffolk bitter enjoyed in a sunny pub garden, or next to a roaring open fire in the local or standing at a bar with mates. Suffolk has so many perfect environments in which to enjoy a great Suffolk bitter such as Humber Doucy’s King Slayer.

A traditional bitter brewed in Suffolk and made using Target and Jester hops. This beer has a piney flavour with hints of blackcurrant. Like our other beers, King Slayer is unrefined and unfiltered to retain the flavour and making it vegan-friendly.

As to the name? Reflective of our humorous outlook on life, and our desire to produce a fine ale, we will leave that to your interpretation. 😉
