New Brews for a Suffolk Summer from Humber Doucy Brewery

Humber Doucy Brewing Co, a family-run Suffolk brewery based in Bacton, is releasing
several new beers over summer 2026. Celtic Crush (5.2%, strawberry saison, brewed with
Boudicca Brewery) is available now in bottle and keg. Peach Tea Pale Ale (4.2%) launched at
Stowmarket Beer Festival and is available to pubs by cask through McCarthy's. Finbow's
Lager launches in August in bottle and cask. A collaboration beer with Swallowtail Preserves
launches at the Jambeeree event. Three barrel-aged porters and a honey beer, Beedica,
follow in Autumn.

Summer at Humber Doucy has been a busy one, and we reckon it's about to get busier.
Fresh from the casks and straight from the fields around Bacton, we have a run of new beers landing over the coming weeks and into Autumn.

Have a peachy summer

Peach Tea Pale Ale made its debut at Stowmarket Beer Festival and did not hang about. We
are very pleased to say it was the first beer to sell out on site. Light, summery and finished
with a gentle hint of peach, this 4.2% pale ale is built for long afternoons in a beer garden.
It is a limited edition and currently only available to pubs by cask, distributed through
McCarthy's. If you run a pub or bar and fancy pouring something people will be asking for by name, get in touch before it is gone.

Crushingly good

Celtic Crush is here now, in kegs for pubs and bottles for everyone else, and it might be our
most storied beer yet. Brewed in collaboration with Boudicca Brewery, this 5.2% strawberry
saison takes its name and its spirit from the legend of Queen Boudicca, said to have shared a beer with her rebels before battle. We like to picture them resting beneath the shade of an East Anglian tree, a humber douce, before carrying on toward the fight. It is brewed with
malt, wheat and oats, with just enough First Gold hops to let the strawberry take centre stage. Available online now and at Finbows Tap, with kegs ready for pubs looking for
something a little different this summer.

A local lager

Finbow's Lager is on its way! A classic lager carrying our Finbows’ woodpecker branding, it
will be available from Finbows Tap, and we have our fingers crossed it becomes a regular
fixture.
It is also brewed with cask and pubs in mind, so if you are planning a beer festival, this is one worth pencilling in. Keep an eye out - it may well make an appearance at Jambeeree or the Squab events too.

Jammy Business

Speaking of Jambeeree, we have teamed up with our friends at Swallowtail Preserves to
brew a beer using their strawberry jam, to help celebrate their first birthday. It will be
pouring at the Jambeeree event itself over the Bank Holiday weekend, and will be available
in bottle and cask afterwards, so pubs and bars looking to add something local and a little
different to their line-up should get in touch.

As the nights draw in

As the evenings start to draw in, we will not be slowing down. Three porters are currently
resting in whiskey, rum and bourbon barrels, ready in time for Halloween. Later in the year,
look out for Beedica, brewed using two seasons worth of honey from the hives we sponsor. It will come with a proper sting.

Whether you are after something new for the beer garden, planning an event, or looking to
stock a beer your customers will not find anywhere else, we would love to hear from you.
