Where it all started
When we launched in the summer of 2019, we were working closely with our local lawyers, Birketts, to set up the company.
Birketts were about to celebrate the first anniversary of their new Ipswich office, Providence House, on Princes Street. The perfect timing! Birketts were holding a party in their rooftop garden, and we were launching a brewery. The opportunity was too good to miss.
We produced a specially labelled version of our Pale Ale, with Birketts branding. And this started quite a trend!
No event is too big – or too small
Over the last few years, even through some of the COVID restrictions, we worked with several businesses to produce a bespoke or white-label version of one of our growing band of bottled beers.
Working to a minimum of 200 bottles (330ml) because of minimum label requirements and design costs, we produced bottles for a wide variety of customers, including Morrison Freight, Sealeys, West View IT, Sackers and Ipswich Scorpions Ladies Rugby Club to name just a few. Additionally, we produced specially labelled bottles for several customers to celebrate a wedding and extended this to birthdays, christenings and parties!
If 200 seems a bit too much for your event, we can store the labels and you can use them over a couple of events.
How it works
Whether you are thinking of it for a staff party or a gift for your clients, we make it all very simple – and enjoyable for you!
First of all, come and visit us at our brewery in Bacton. We will give you a tour of the brewery, a guided tasting of our brews, and discuss the label design. We can take care of everything – the label design, the label production – even branded gift bags if you need them. If you want to design your own label with your graphic designer, we can arrange the print, or we can provide the design service. Whatever suits you.
A bit different
We like to think we are a bit different at Humber Doucy. With our love of beer, love of Suffolk and having fun being our main motivations for setting up the company, producing bespoke labelled bottles for our clients fits very nicely.
It’s a great way to promote a new product launch, a special anniversary or just to say thank you to your team.
You can even hold your event at our brewery for that extra special touch – with a brewery tour and tasting included for your guests.
