We love Suffolk.
We love everything about it. From the Suffolk skies to the beaches, fields, pubs and towns. Of course, two of our favourite Suffolk things have to be the food and drink 😍 Which is why, at weekends and the odd sneaky afternoon off work, you are likely to find us in a local farm café or shopping at a village deli. We love eating local produce – and drinking local beer! After all, isn’t that what being Suffolk means?
Support Local
We take every opportunity to support local retailers and producers. As small traders and producers, we are all part of the same family and are here to support each other. There is a strong network within Suffolk brewers – we don’t compete. We raise each other up, support each other and cheer each other on.
Local Community
Humber Doucy takes part in community events as much as possible. Whether that is taking part in local fairs and street events, supporting charity raffles, or taking part in local business awards, we love being part of the Suffolk community.
Local Ingredients
Our brewery, in Bacton, is surrounded by fields growing barley. We can see where our barley is growing before it ends up in our bottles.
Suffolk Brews
We even name our beers after our favourite Suffolk places. From Beacon to Friday Street we are gradually mapping out Suffolk with our brews 😂
Working with local retailers
We love to see Humber Doucy being stocked in local farm stores and village delis. Working with, and supporting other local producers and retailers, is what we do. Our ethos and values are all based on our love of Suffolk and what better way to reflect that love than be stocked in a farm store, on a shelf next to locally produced ham, cheese and bread!
We want to expand our retail reach but we also want to support our local retailers by making it as easy as possible for local, independent retailers:
- Small minimum order quantity of two cases – this allows you to try stocking Humber Doucy to see how it goes and what your customers think, without making a big financial commitment or entering a contract.
- Free weekly delivery into Suffolk and parts of Norfolk - give us a buzz to find out details. We will be as flexible as possible.
- Free inclusion in our stockists’ page – a great way to extend your marketing reach to potentially a new market, and improve your SEO for Google.
